THE EXPERIENCE

Everything you need to know before you book.

You've seen the photos. Now here's what actually happens who we are, what the day looks like, and why women leave feeling nothing like how they arrived.

You want to feel powerful, not performed

You're not looking for a character to play. You want photos that actually look like you at your best.

You've never done anything like this before

Most of our clients haven't. No experience in front of a camera is needed or expected.

You're ready to be guided

You don't need to know what to do. You just need to be willing to let us show you.

You're marking something that matters

A milestone, a transformation, a moment you don't want to forget. Or simply the decision to finally do something for yourself.

You want the experience as much as the photos

Women tell us the session itself was worth it before they even saw a single image.

You want to feel seen properly

Not retouched into someone unrecognisable. Not filtered. Genuinely, powerfully yourself.

This experience was built for a specific kind of woman.

Not a type. Not a look. A mindset. If any of these sound like you, you're exactly who we had in mind.

If you read that list and felt even one of those land that's enough. You don't need to tick every box.

THE PEOPLE BEHIND THE LENS

You're walking into a private studio. Here's who you'll actually meet.

Watson & Co. is Luke and Emily. Not a studio with rotating staff or a production-line approach. The same two people, every session, fully invested in every client.

Luke Watson

PHOTOGRAPHER & CREATIVE DIRECTOR

Luke picked up a camera at 16, originally to make YouTube videos. Photography took over instead. He kept it up through four years serving in the army, shooting in whatever time he had, refining an eye for light, composition and the kind of image that actually means something.

After leaving the military he moved into portrait work boudoir, fine art, fitness. When a gym he worked with asked him to shoot transformation photos, something clicked. He saw what happened when boudoir sensibility met fitness empowerment, and Watson & Co. was born from that realisation.

Luke leads the creative direction of every session shaping the images, directing movement and expression, and making sure every frame earns its place.

Emily McDermott

CLIENT EXPERIENCE DIRECTOR & CREATIVE DIRECTOR

Emily came into Watson & Co. through modelling for concept shoots, and stayed because she found something she was genuinely good at making women feel safe in a vulnerable situation.

She'd been studying mental health nursing at the time. She finished her degree. Then she made a deliberate choice: she could help people feel better about themselves here, in a space she loved, without the institutional weight of the NHS.

That background isn't incidental. It shapes everything about how Emily works the patience, the attentiveness, the ability to read when someone needs reassurance and when they just need space. It's why clients mention her by name in almost every review.

A woman in black lingerie lying on her back with her legs raised and bent, while another woman in gray sweats helps her put on a shoe in a studio setting.
A woman standing and smiling with her hands clasped, wearing black sports bra and underwear, while a man lying on his back on the floor with one hand raised and the other behind his head, wearing gray shorts and a black T-shirt with a graphic print, both in a studio with gray background and white flooring.

They built this together after Luke spent six years as a sole trader and Emily finished her degree. Both of them chose this deliberately not because it was the obvious path, but because they saw what this experience does for women and decided it was worth going all in on. That intention shows in every session.

Words From Women Who’ve Been Here

  • I didn’t feel rushed or put on the spot at any point. Everything was calm, guided and intentional, which made the whole experience feel surprisingly easy. I left feeling confident and grounded not just pleased with the images, but with how I felt throughout.

    — Miss R

  • From the moment I arrived, the environment felt considered and supportive. I never felt like I had to perform or ‘get it right’. The experience allowed me to relax into myself, and the images reflect that in a way I didn’t expect.

    — Miss D

  • This felt very different from what I imagined a photoshoot would be. It wasn’t about being pushed or hyped up it was calm, focused and reassuring. I walked away feeling more present and confident than when I arrived.
