THE EXPERIENCE

Everything you need to know before you book and why women who train choose us.

You have seen the images. Now here is what actually happens who we are, what the day looks like, and why women who train leave with images that finally match the work they have put in.

You train hard and you want images that prove it

You have never had a shoot that truly reflected your strength

You are ready to be guided

You are marking a milestone a transformation, a competition, a new chapter, or simply deciding it is your turn

You want the experience as much as the photos

You want images that reflect your strength and your identity not a filtered version of someone else

This experience was built for women who take their training seriously.

Not a body type. Not a fitness level. A mindset. If any of those points landed you are exactly who we built Watson and Co for.

A woman with black hair and tattoos wearing black lace lingerie standing against a plain background.

If one of those landed that is enough. Whether you are a competitive athlete, a recreational trainer, or simply someone who has put in serious work and wants it documented you are in the right place.

THE PEOPLE BEHIND THE LENS

You are walking into a private studio with two people who have done this over a thousand times. Here is who you will actually meet.

Watson & Co. is Luke and Emily. Not a studio with rotating staff or a production-line approach. The same two people, every session, fully invested in every client.

Luke Watson

PHOTOGRAPHER & CREATIVE DIRECTOR

Luke picked up a camera at 16, originally to make YouTube videos. Photography took over instead. He kept it up through four years serving in the army, shooting in whatever time he had, refining an eye for light, composition and the kind of image that actually means something.

After leaving the military he moved into portrait work boudoir, fine art, fitness. When a gym he worked with asked him to shoot transformation photos, something clicked. He saw what happened when boudoir sensibility met fitness empowerment, and Watson & Co. was born from that realisation.

Luke leads the creative direction of every session shaping the images, directing movement and expression, and making sure every frame earns its place.

Emily McDermott

CLIENT EXPERIENCE DIRECTOR & CREATIVE DIRECTOR

Emily came into Watson & Co. through modelling for concept shoots, and stayed because she found something she was genuinely good at making women feel safe in a vulnerable situation.

She'd been studying mental health nursing at the time. She finished her degree. Then she made a deliberate choice: she could help people feel better about themselves here, in a space she loved, without the institutional weight of the NHS.

That background isn't incidental. It shapes everything about how Emily works the patience, the attentiveness, the ability to read when someone needs reassurance and when they just need space. It's why clients mention her by name in almost every review.

A woman in black lingerie lying on her back with her legs raised and bent, while another woman in gray sweats helps her put on a shoe in a studio setting.
A woman standing and smiling with her hands clasped, wearing black sports bra and underwear, while a man lying on his back on the floor with one hand raised and the other behind his head, wearing gray shorts and a black T-shirt with a graphic print, both in a studio with gray background and white flooring.

They built this together after Luke spent six years as a sole trader and Emily finished her mental health nursing degree. Both of them chose this deliberately not because it was the obvious path, but because they saw what this experience does for women who have worked hard on themselves and decided it was worth going all in on. That intention shows in every single session.

What women who train say about the experience.

  • I didn’t feel rushed or put on the spot at any point. Everything was calm, guided and intentional, which made the whole experience feel surprisingly easy. I left feeling confident and grounded not just pleased with the images, but with how I felt throughout.

    — Miss R

  • From the moment I arrived, the environment felt considered and supportive. I never felt like I had to perform or ‘get it right’. The experience allowed me to relax into myself, and the images reflect that in a way I didn’t expect.

    — Miss D

  • This felt very different from what I imagined a photoshoot would be. It wasn’t about being pushed or hyped up it was calm, focused and reassuring. I walked away feeling more present and confident than when I arrived.

    — Miss J
